FirstDoor Community Conduct and Content Guidelines
Effective date: May 10, 2026
These Guidelines apply to the FirstDoor forum and other community areas (comments, private messages, events) and form an integral part of the User Agreement (Document 1). The purpose is to build a community where early-stage Web3 projects can be discussed safely, transparently, and respectfully.
1. GENERAL PRINCIPLES
- Respect: Criticize ideas, not people. Insults, belittling, and targeting individuals are prohibited.
- Transparency: If you have a financial or business relationship with a project (team membership, consulting, paid promotion, a significant token holding), disclose it clearly in your posts.
- DYOR: No content on the forum constitutes investment advice. Do your own research, and encourage others to do the same.
- Evidence: If you make a serious allegation about a project or a person (e.g., fraud), substantiate it; unfounded accusations are prohibited.
2. PROHIBITED CONTENT AND CONDUCT
2.1 Unlawful and harmful content:
- Any content that violates applicable law; incitement to crime, glorification of violence, terrorist propaganda;
- Hate speech; discrimination based on race, religion, language, ethnic origin, gender, sexual orientation, or disability;
- Harassment, threats, blackmail, persistent stalking;
- Unauthorized disclosure of others' personal data (identity, address, phone number, wallet-ownership matching) (doxxing);
- Obscene, pornographic, or violent imagery; any content related to child exploitation (reported to the competent authorities immediately).
2.2 Fraud and manipulation:
- Phishing links, fake site/application links, wallet-draining software;
- Any post requesting a seed phrase or private key;
- Organizing pump-and-dump schemes, coordinated price manipulation, misleading "guaranteed profit" promises;
- Undisclosed paid promotion (shilling) — praising a project without disclosing the relationship;
- Fake airdrops, fake support accounts, impersonating the FirstDoor team or moderators;
- Abusing reward and quest campaigns through bots, fake accounts (sybil), or organized vote manipulation.
2.3 Platform order:
- Spam; repeated posting of the same content, irrelevant advertising, chain messages;
- Posting referral/invite links outside the topic/category specifically reserved for them (referral sharing is permitted in a controlled manner; only in the relevant topic);
- Splitting off-topic content into threads, flooding, excessive use of capital letters;
- Creating new accounts to circumvent moderation decisions (ban evasion);
- Unauthorized sharing of copyright-protected content (details: Document 9).
3. PROJECT PROMOTION AND ADVERTISING RULES
- Project owners may only promote their own projects under Project Showcases and with transparent disclosure;
- Promotions may not contain misleading information about tokenomics, the team, contract addresses, or risks;
- The fact that a project has been shared/appears on the FirstDoor forum may not be presented as an endorsement/recommendation (the phrase "FirstDoor-approved project" may not be used);
- Paid promotion, sponsorship, and partnerships must be clearly labeled;
- Promises of returns, price targets, and "will do x" type statements are prohibited.
4. REWARDED EVENTS AND QUEST CAMPAIGNS
- Participation conditions are set out in the relevant event announcement; if the announcement conflicts with these Guidelines, the event announcement takes priority;
- Each person may participate with only one account; if multiple accounts are detected, all such accounts are disqualified;
- FirstDoor reserves the right to halt an event, cancel results, or redistribute rewards in the event of cheating, manipulation, or a technical issue;
- Rewards are non-transferable; persons who are ineligible to receive a reward under local law will not be paid; the tax obligations arising from rewards belong to the winning person.
5. MODERATION AND SANCTIONS
Violations are, as a rule, subject to graduated sanctions; however, for serious violations (fraud, phishing, doxxing, unlawful content) a direct permanent removal may be applied:
| Tier | Sanction |
|---|---|
| 1. Warning | The content is removed; the user is notified of the rule violation. |
| 2. Restriction | Certain features (creating topics, sending messages) are temporarily restricted. |
| 3. Temporary suspension | The account is suspended for 30 days on a first violation, 90 days on a repeat violation . |
| 4. Permanent removal | The account is permanently closed; attempts to create a new account are blocked. |
Moderators have the authority to remove, move, lock, pin content, and restrict users. Moderation decisions are made on behalf of FirstDoor and in good faith; please raise any disagreement with moderators through the appropriate channels.
6. APPEALS PROCESS
If you believe a moderation decision was made in error, you may apply to support@firstdoor.app within 7 days of being notified of the decision, providing the link to the relevant content/decision and your reasoning. Appeals are, as a rule, evaluated within 7 days; the outcome is communicated by e-mail.
7. COMPLAINTS AND REPORTING
You may report content that violates these Guidelines using the "Report" tool on the content itself or via support@firstdoor.app. For urgent matters involving suspected fraud, please include a screenshot, link, and transaction ID (tx hash) with your report where possible.
8. FINAL PROVISIONS
These Guidelines may be updated according to the community's needs; the current version is published on the forum. In matters not covered by these Guidelines, the moderation team has the authority to decide in keeping with the spirit of the Guidelines. Nothing in these Guidelines narrows the rights and obligations set out in the User Agreement.
